Volunteer Surgery Center performs a broad range of outpatient surgical procedures. We have access to multiple vendors who provide us with a wide inventory of specialty implants and state of the art medical equipment. Our surgeons and staff stay on the cutting edge in the latest surgical and diagnostic technology, and share countless years of cumulative experience in each field.
Current Surgical Procedures:
Otolaryngology/ENT
Surgical treatment for conditions of the ears, nose, and throat. The most common
procedures are ear tubes, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and various sinus and nasal surgeries.
Ophthalmology/Eyes
Surgery which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders, such as
cataracts with intraocular lens implants.
Gastrointestinal
Examination of the interior surface of the entire length of the of the colon or upper
digestive system.
Orthopedic
Surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system and trauma.
Pain Management (Surgical)
Peripheral nerve stimulation, frequently referred to as PNS, is a commonly used approach to treat chronic pain. It involves surgery that places a small electrical device (a wire-like electrode) next to one of the peripheral nerves.
Podiatry
Surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity.
